North Pine Dam Consequence Assessment

This study involved a detailed assessment of the consequences resulting from a large number of Dam failure scenarios of North Pine Dam, QLD. The project included hydraulic modelling using TUFLOW model, Potential Loss of Life and economic consequence assessment using HEC-LifeSim, for a range of dam failure scenarios. This assessment provided valuable insights into the risk assessment of the dam but also highlighted the site specific challenges of evacuation during a flood event.
