In preparation for DEECA’s 2025 update to the Guidelines for Assessing Climate Change Impact on Water Availability in Victoria, this project investigated various aspects of the sensitivity of water resource availability to climate change and climate variability. This project investigated water availability analysis techniques, influence on water availability of different climate reference periods, use of stochastic climate data and changes to climate variability under project climate change.
