HARC – supported by D-CAT, Ventia and Woolpert – worked with the Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) and the Murray–Darling Basin Runoff Dams Working Group (RDWG) to:
▪ investigate the costs and benefits of potential methods for ground-truthing the water resource impacts of runoff dams, and
▪ capture data that will improve understanding of the uncertainty in estimates of runoff dam impacts.
HARC – supported by Sequana – is now working with the MDBA and RDWG members to prepare a business case for Australian Government funding to improve Commonwealth and jurisdictional understanding and management of runoff dam interception across the Murray-Darling Basin.
