    Hi there,

I’m trying to carry out a FIT run using a catchment and storm file. The Model runs fine until I try to add a code 7.1 to the model and I get the following error:

    Data checks:
    ************
Next data to be read & checked:

Catchment name & reach type flag
    Control vector & storage data
    Sub-area areas
    Impervious flag
    Initial storm data
    Rainfall burst times
    Pluviograph 1
    Sub-area rainfalls
    Hydrograph times
    1 hydrograph(s) expected in data
Data error: 1.00 read instead of end check -99
2 ordinates & end check read
    1 hydrograph(s) expected in data

This is preceded by a pop up warning window saying “You will need to fix up the catchment (vector) file before proceeding – see following diagnostics”

There are no obvious issues in either file that I can see, but would appreciate if anyone could advise where im going wrong?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Ross,

RORB isn’t reading the storm file correctly because there is only 1 pluviograph but pluviographs are still being assigned to each subarea. By default, if RORB detects only 1 pluviograph then it skips the pluviograph assignment and assumes every subarea will have the same pluviograph. If you delete the pluviograph reference lines then it should work.

    Kind regards,

    Benson

    Hi Benson,

Thanks for the guidance. Strangely it ran on one of our modeling computers with no issues, so I thought there may have been an issue with the installed version of RORB on my laptop. I will try that troubleshooting step if I get this error again.

    Thanks,

    Ross
