Dr Conrad Tian

Dr Conrad Tian is a skilled civil engineer/hydrologist who completed his PhD at Monash University, where his research focused on investigating maintenance technologies for raingardens and water-sensitive urban design infrastructures. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Honours) from Monash University. He also gained plenty of teaching experience.

Prior to joining HARC, Conrad prepared postgraduate-level course materials and lectured in water-sensitive urban design and hydrological engineering during his time lecturing at Victoria University.

At HARC, Conrad applies his expertise in hydrological and hydraulic modelling, working on that utilize software such as QGIS, RORB, and TUFLOW. His work emphasizes data analytics, programming, and developing graphical user interfaces (GUIs) using Python and R. He has experience in delivering efficient, data-driven solutions to water management challenges.
