Russell is a water resources engineer and economist with over 25 years experience in water resource planning, strategy, policy and economics.
His experience includes projects in Australia, New Zealand, North America and South East Asia and the Pacific. Russell has had leading roles in the preparation of water futures strategies for major Australian cities including those for South East Queensland and Sydney. He has also been responsible for the development of a range of water infrastructure business cases.
Russell’s specific capabilities are in water demand analysis and forecasting, demand management planning and economics, integrated water cycle management, business case preparation and stakeholder engagement. He has been responsible for the development of a number of leading edge decision support and analysis tools that support his work.
