HARC is part of a delegation sharing Australia’s expertise in water resource management through the Jordan-Australia Water Reform Collaboration.
Supported by the Australian Water Partnership, and led by Aither, the delegation will help clarify current and future risks and opportunities for Jordan’s water resources. Kate Austin is leading a sustainable yield assessment and working to develop an allocation planning tool for Jordan.
Parallel projects being undertaken through the collaboration will develop a narrative for change, and outline potential economic instruments for improved water allocation and use.
