Ale is a professional with over 18 years of expertise in water resources planning, demand conservation, and integrated water management strategies. She has a robust background in NSW Local Government, having delivered projects for over 40 NSW Local Water Utilities. Her experience extends across Australia, including VIC, QLD, ACT, and NT, as well as international projects in Pakistan, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea.
Ale’s extensive technical experience encompasses historical regression analyses of demand, demand forecasting, climate change impact analyses, and demand management strategies. She is an accomplished financial modeller, assisting water utilities with water pricing and developer servicing plans. Ale has also contributed to the development of a cost-benefit analysis tool for evaluating water conservation and smart metering options tailored to various clients. Additionally, she has developed risk assessment frameworks and flood risk emergency plans.
Ale is deeply involved in the management and technical delivery of a four-year international engagement aimed at providing water aid to disadvantaged communities in Pakistan facing water security issues. This project focuses on assessing water-sensitive urban design options to improve water supply and sanitation using the Water Sensitive City Index tool developed by CRCWSC.
In addition to her technical and project management skills, Ale excels in writing successful proposals, managing projects and clients, and delivering successful outcomes. She is also a team leader and HARC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) coordinator. In her role as a team leader, she assists with weekly team resourcing and workload management and conducts annual individual performance and career development reviews for all team members.
