Several members of the HARC team are attending and presenting at the 36th Hydrology and Water Resources Symposium in Hobart from December 7 to 10. Peter Hill and Matt Scorah will be presenting on aspects of the updated guidance around loss rates and preburst rainfalls as part of the revision of Australian Rainfall and Runoff (ARR). Phillip Jordan is presenting on rainfall space-time patterns and Matt has a second presentation on use of gridded daily rainfall data to support design flood hydrology. Phillip is also chairing a conference session and Peter is presenting at the ARR workshop on the day before the conference. This conference is one of the most anticipated in recent years, as it will coincide with the launch of the revised version of ARR.
