    Hi there,

I am new to the software and get the following error message when trying to develop design hydrographs.

    Data checks:
    ************
Next data to be read & checked:

Catchment name & reach type flag
    Control vector & storage data
    Sub-area areas
    Impervious flag
    Initial storm data
    Rainfall burst times
    Pluviograph 1
    Sub-area rainfalls
    Hydrograph times
    1 hydrograph(s) expected in data
Data error: insufficient data in data file

Can you please advise what the issue is? Or what steps I should take to try troubleshoot it?

    Kind regards,
    Josh

    Hi Josh,

RORB is expecting a hydrograph to be provided in the storm file but is failing because one isn’t being provided. If you are running standard design runs, the most likely cause of this is the print nodes in the catchment files are set to be Code 7.1, which is an interstation area meant for calibration where you provide a hydrograph to compare to. For design runs you will need to change this to a Code 7.2 for RORB to still treat it as an interstation area but not be expecting a hydrograph to be provided. This change can be done in the RORB GE.

    Kind regards,

    Benson

    Hi Benson,

Thank you for getting back to me – this has resolved the issue.

    Kind regards,
    Josh
