Dr Ash Rasheed

Dr Ash Rasheed is a Senior Hydrologist with a decade of research and consultancy experience in water engineering, specializing in hydrology and hydraulic modelling. His areas of expertise include flood hydrology, hydraulic modelling, frequency analysis, dam failure risk assessment, and the development of specialized computer codes for hydrological modelling.

He has contributed to several Monte Carlo-based design flood hydrology studies for Hydro Tasmania, Seqwater, Sunwater, and the SnowyHydro portfolio of dams. Recently, he has served as a technical lead for the IFD (Intensity-Frequency-Duration) updates for Southeast Queensland.
