Three members of the HARC team are looking forward to presenting at the Floodplain Management Australia National Conference in Newcastle this week. First up is Chriselyn Kavanagh, who will be speaking about agent based evacuation simulation models for flooding (2:15 pm Wednesday). Andrew Northfield will be presenting on some of the dam safety risks associated with retarding basin structures on Thursday at 11:30 am and David Stephens will be presenting on the implications of ensemble and joint probability modelling techniques at 2:30 pm Thursday. Additionally, David will also be discussing some of the recent enhancements to RORBwin at 3:45 pm Wednesday as part of the workshop on Australian Rainfall and Runoff.
