Sunwater engaged HARC to undertake a detailed update of the flood hydrology, dambreak modelling, inundation mapping and consequences of failure of Paradise Dam. This involved the application of the LifeSim model to estimate the potential loss of life from dam failure which accounts for the dissemination of warning, mobilisation of the population and potential for traffic congestion.
